What has God been teaching you?- That He alone is my hope and my anchor
Why are you involved in the Fellows Program? - Because there are no shortcuts in discipleship to arrive sooner. Because we are implored in Scripture to bring our everyday, ordinary lives as an offering to God. Because apart from the vine, we can do nothing. Because Fellows is an invitation to walk this pilgrimage together with others.
More tangibly, I was one of the first Space Coast Fellows and God lit a fire of excitement for the opportunity to be in fellowship with young adults who want to bring their everyday, ordinary lives to God as an offering.
What is a surprising fact about you? - I own a shofar and can play it

Rev. Kristian Eikevik
Pastor to Fellows, Students, & Biblical Counseling
Hobbies- surfing, longing for the heavenly country, getting places late, lamenting for getting places late, mediocre but enthusiastic performance in any sports activity, starting books and not finishing them, audiobooking with no shame
What has God been teaching you?- that I am too slow to listen, too quick to speak, and too quick to be silly when I want my way, but Jesus is my delightful, restful alternative to my ways
Why are you involved in the Fellows Program? - Because Fellows is such a blessed way to become disciples together; Because I am delighted by the difficulty and vitality of doing shared life in Christian community; Because I am deeply in need of learning the Lord in this way myself; Because my wife and kids have come to love the Fellows so much; Because Ian Montgomery is a true friend and man of God and they are hard to find; Because I am convinced that there is no work more central that I can join God in than making disciples with His Son Jesus, and I hope that I would die for the joy and weight of His glory in the task
What is a surprising fact about you? - that I am 40 and somehow still so immature
What are some of your favorite books?
audiobooks on repeat: CS Lewis’ Space Trilogy and the Chronicles of Narnia (all of them), JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit, and Silmarillion

What has God been teaching you?- Life is not fair. God is still good.
Why are you involved in the Fellows Program? - I love empowering and mentoring the next generation of leaders to follow hard after Jesus!
What is a surprising fact about you? - I once lived across the street from a community of witchdoctors as a missionary in Central Africa; my dogs would periodically bring pig, goat, and chicken bones back into our yard that had been sacrificed to the ancestors across the street. Good times!
